First Female Flutist to perform various flutes in Indian Classical Carnatic Music

Jayaprada Ramamurthy from Andhra Pradesh, India has created a record by becoming the First Female Flute artist to Perform various types of Bamboo Flutes (Base, Top & Medium), and also the Western Key Flute (for improvisations) on the concert stage, in Indian Classical Carnatic Music. She has authored a book titled 'Basics of Flute Playing' which is the first of its kind, in the field of Carnatic Music. She has extensively toured USA, Europe, UAE, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and India, purely as a Solo Performer. She holds the unique distinction as a Flutist, to perform at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world for various dignitaries such as the President of India, Prime Minister of Nepal, Governors, CMs and other dignitaries of various Indian states and other countries.
