Donating a Unique Artifact to Museum

Alankar Museum at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, Rajasthan has donated a wooden spoon measuring 12.19 m (40 ft.) long and 1.07 m (42 in.) at its widest point on 17th September 2011. However, the formalities for placement of the spoon were completed only on 8th June 2012. The spoon now hangs on three pillars at the centre of the museum with World Record certificates. The donor details have also been painted on the pillars. It was designed by Garima Foundation and made by Nishant Choudhary and Manmohan Agarwal, the largest wooden spoon had earlier been put on display at the Pink Square Mall, Jaipur on 21st December 2010.
