Enormous Candles from 9-inch to 38-inch circumference each weighing 1 kg to 100 kg

Marsleeva Association for Rural Guidance (MARG) Mapranam, Irinjalakuda, Kerala, India organized an exhibition at Holy Cross Shrine Church Mapranam of enormous candles on 30th August ,2010. There were 100 candles from 9-inch to 38-inch circumference each weighing 1 kg to 100 kg. The total weights of the candles were 5050 kg with the tallest being 6 ft and other smaller candles had varied heights starting from 0.75 ft. Manufacturing took one month. Three volunteers worked for 30 days. The overall expenses incurred for the event was about Rs.8 lakh.
