New Light Multilingual Dictionary “Prajna”

Ugen Lopsang Sherpa (Born on 7th November 1987) from Sikkim, India achieved the record for “New Light Multilingual Dictionary “Prajna”. This five lingual dictionary has been sought to be compiled between the years 2010 to 2013. The dictionary was released by the Governor of Sikkim and Chief Minister of Sikkim on the auspicious occasion of Pang Lhabsol (State Festival), at Gangtok on 21st August 2013. In this dictionary, more than 10,000 words were used, which included 1917 basic words in English, which is translated to same word and meaning to different four languages i.e. Sherpa, Bhutia, Nepali and Tibetan.
