World’s Biggest Lateritic Sculpture

Maendra J. Araujo Alvares (born on 1st March 1958) from Goa, India has created the biggest laterite sculpture of Sant Meerabai ( the immortal devotee of Lord Krishna) having size 14m X 5m on 5th September 1994. The sculpture was completed after continuous work of one month and he entitled the sculpture ‘The Natural Harmony’ with the motive to enhance the beauty of Goa.
