Largest Collection of Crosses from Around the World

Maendra J. Araujo Alvares (born on 1st March 1958) from Goa, India has the largest collection of crosses from around the world. This unique collection has 1530 crosses ranging from 1 cm to 100 cm length made from different materials and metals. They are displayed with a description according to their name, shape, origin and their meaning also given. The collection is housed in a Museum for public display, now it is known as the “Big Foot Cross Museum” in Loutolim, Goa.
