Dr S. Ramesh Babu (born on 12th February 1957) from Karnataka, India did the Fastest Solo Marathon Highway Scooter Driving, by travelling from Bangalore to Pune and back on the National Highway 4, on a 150 CC Bajaj Super Scooter, covering the 855 KM distance with an effective driving time of 20 Hr. 09 Min. during the onward journey on 1st May 1998, and 18 Hr. 33 Min. during the return journey on 6th May 1998.
