Fastest Paper Plane Launching in One Minute

Dr S. Ramesh Babu (born on 12th February 1957) from Karnataka, India achieved the Fastest Paper Plane Launching In One Minute, by successfully flying 296 paper planes in 1 minute, at the Green Country Public School, Bangalore (Karnataka), India, on 22nd November 2006. The self-made 10 fold symmetric paper planes made using papers of size 15 cm x 19 cm, arranged on 6 tables, 60 on each in 6 rows and 10 columns were launched by Prof. Ramesh using both the hands simultaneously, at a rapid rate of 4.93 per second.
