Dr S. Ramesh Babu (born on 12th February 1957) from Karnataka, India achieved the Fastest Manual Thread Winding in One Minute by winding 106.44-meter cotton thread over a 15.5 cm long plastic container of 12.8 cm diameter at a speed of 6.38 KMPH, at Seshadripuram School, Bangalore (Karnataka), India, on 29th March 2008.
