Fastest Gift Wrapping in One Hour

Dr S. Ramesh Babu (born on 12th February 1957) from Karnataka, India achieved the record Fastest Gift Wrapping In One Hour by wrapping 216 Standard Sarees Boxes of size 33 ½ cm x 21 cm x 4 cm in 59 Min. 53 sec., using gift wrappers of size 59 cm x 49 cm, at Stella Maris High School, Bangalore (Karnataka), India on 9th July 2005. Each gift wrapping consisted of 20 unassisted individual operations including 9 symmetric folding’s and taping at 2 places. The symmetry and neatness were qualitatively graded by the authenticating officials.
