E-Waste Collection and Safe Disposal for an Eco-friendly Environment

St. Pious X Degree & PG College for Women from Telangana, India conducted an e-waste management programme creating awareness in the society regarding the hazards of improper e-waste disposal. They collected e-waste from neighbourhood houses, colonies and schools around 195.80 kg which had 35 varieties of electronic waste goods like mobiles, chargers, UPS, CPUs, mosquito bats, CDs, and wires were collected and disposed of safely in collaboration with Earth Sense Recycle Private Limited on 18th July 2014.
