Girish Panchal (born on 16th November 1972) from Gujarat, India created the record of "Biggest Nail Painting Exhibition on Mahatma Gandhi". He exhibited self curved 144 nail drawings on the 144 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on 2nd October 2012 at the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmadabad. The painting was made with thumbnail on paper, depicting Gandhi's journeys within the country and across the world on six subjects 50 (Portrait & Others), 07 (Dandhi March), 41 (Concept Paintings), 12 (Two in One - Paintings), 24 (Sabda Chitra - Alphabetic Paintings) and 10 (Rule of Mahatma - Paintings) varying size up to 5 inches to 28 inch.
